IRC

The IRC was there (#species.wikipedia) but hardly, if anyone, goes on. Quite unlike Wikipedia, Wikispecies crowd are generally more science-oriented and less likely to participate in chatrooms. OhanaUnited^{Talk page} 03:13, 27 January 2009 (UTC)

ITIS

I see you connect the species to ITIS but ITIS is NOT reliable. We have had many discussions about the reliability of outher sides and the conclusion is that no side is reliable.

I do the Lepidoptera and sometimes Insecta. The Database from ITIS is NOT reliable for Insecta but maybe ITIS is reliable for fishes (I don't know). What I know about ITIS is that they didn't change the tribus etc. and a lot of the species mentioned in their system are now synonyms.

Lasta it is ok. Some people don't like that we inform or advise each other but I think Wiki is teamwork and we make known each others experiences.

Conflict

Edit conflict is very common and there is nothing that you have to blame yourself on. See edit conflict OhanaUnited^{Talk page} 13:51, 2 March 2009 (UTC)

Click on edit on User:Lasta/signature, copy all of the contents. Now go to your preferences, paste the contents under "Signature" and check the box that says "Raw signatures (without automatic link)" OhanaUnited^{Talk page} 13:09, 4 March 2009 (UTC)
