You have to upload it to Wikimedia Commons. If you need help to upload, or anything in general, just leave me a message on my talk page. I can assist you in uploading (but try it yourself first because I don't like snakes, even pictures of snakes in books or on television!) By the way, whenever you write something that is not in an article, you should sign your name with ~~~~. It is a shortcut that automatically generates your signature. Alright, on my talk page, use the "email this user" feature. Since you can't attach a picture in Wikipedia email, just send me something that will catch my attention. I will reply your email, so that you will know my email address which then you can send me another email with the picture in attachment. Where did you get this picture? Did you take it yourself? Ok, check Python regius again to make sure how to add an image to an article. The reason why the image doesn't show up is because it was uploaded to English Wikipedia. In this situation, the image is only available to English Wikipedia and no where else. In order for the image to be used in multiple projects, you have to upload it to Wikimedia Commons. All self-taken images are encouraged to upload at Commons instead. Since we don't use fair-use image in Wikispecies, this is the reason why we disabled our upload. The images are not loaded at Wikispecies but at Wikimedia Commons. You can find the detailed procedure of the loading here. But take care: the images must not be copyright-protected, otherwise they would be deleted by an administrator. Mariusm 15:38, 19 October 2008 (UTC)

Also, instead of adding a blank line in between, add <br> after the genus so the line afterwards does not have a gap.[1] OhanaUnited^{Talk page} 18:59, 23 November 2008 (UTC)

There is presently a [discussion on the use of daggers to denote extinct taxa. This will affect a large portion of the pages in wikispecies as the project grows so if possible please read the contributions so far and comment. Thanks --Kevmin 06:53, 11 January 2009 (UTC)
