There is a lot of misinformation the article. First, velociraptor was not a hunter. It was a scavenger! 2 the freak claw was to hold down its meal (sometimes still alive) while it ripped it to pieces small enough to eat. 3 the long rigid tail was to look like some thing bigger from a distance and give V. a chance to eat before being chased away by some thing bigger than itself. 4 In the dinosaur fight with V. locked into the jaws of a legless cerratops(?) V was unlucky to have been caught by a still alive C. which had in turn been partially eaten and left behind by another scavenger. C. would have been slowly dieing and V. could not get its leg out of its mouth. The severe sandstorm (that frightened away the killer of the C.) would have interred them both for posterity. In the video clip I found so many errors that I thought it was a spoof to see who in class was gullible enough to believe any rubbish presented as fact. Peter Bond
