Could someone please take a look at the varanus template? I tried to add the missing (I think) subgenera and I think I created a FUBAR. Lies Van Rompaey 14:58, 18 August 2009 (UTC)

So I got everything mixed up today and I learned a lot. I was quietly adding information on listed species when someone pointed out that some Varanus subgenera were missing. I assumed this person was right and looked for information to confirm that. I found it too, except I also found a lot of sources that mentioned only one Varanidae genus: Varanus.

I think those sources are quite reliable and it might be better to list just the genus Varanus under Varanidae.

Please have a look at the sources I consulted before you shoot me ;). Just trying to find the best way to contribute.
