Talk:Agave palmeri

Hi, I am planning an atempt at growing hardy cactii and succulents out side in West Wales. We are retired but still have a sizable area left from the original farm. Our intention is to landscape the farm yard about 1/4 ACRE at present with farm house and attached barn giving protection from the north and other buildings and trees to the west. The yard itself is a sun trap when it shines and some times in December we have recorded 70-80 degrees either side of mid-day, we do also get wet sometimes but we are well drained and also we get some frost but not normally very low as although we are at 800ft the Irish sea can be seen some 6mls West of here. I would appreciate any helpfull comments and suggested plants. January 2008
