Name[edit]

Rhinella crucifer (Wied-Neuwied, 1821)

Type locality: "entre o corrego Piabanda e o ribeirao issara, ambos afluentes do rio Ilheus, cerca de 40 km acima de Itabuna".

Holotype: Not designated; possibly in AMNH but not recognized.
