Synonyms[edit]

  • Homotypic
    • Linnaeaceae Backlund in A.Backlund & N.Pyck, Taxon 47: 658. (1998)

Note: Christenhusz (2013) proposed that all of the above genera are subsumed into an expanded Linnaea s.l., but this is largely rejected by Wang et al. (2015) and Landrein & Prenner (2013) who argue that there are major morphological and disjunct geographical differences within Linnaeoideae, as well as a need to keep the number of nomenclatural changes to a minimum.
