Heterodermia linearis Moberg & T.H.Nash, 1999
Type: MEXICO. Baja California Sur. Sierra de la Laguna. Along the path to Santiago, E side of the mountain pass. Close to a meadow. 23o30'N, 110o00'W, Alt. 1,800 m. On tree trunk. 15.11. 1993. Moberg 10307 (UPS, holotype; ASU, isotype).
Diagnosis: Thallus foliaceus ± orbicularis, superne griseus, subtus albus, lobi lineares, margine ciliato. Cortex superior absens. Soralia desunt. Apothecia frequentia.
