Apothecia stipitate with green algae in thalline margin

With Thelomma occidentale

I don’t usually see this species in such nice orbicular form, but then again I did photograph the best specimen! See other photo with some hodge podge looking thallus cushions.

Recognized by sight: Thallus lacks lower cortex; impossible to separate from the substrate.
