English: Protolycosa anthracophila Römer, 1865, holotype and only known specimen (lost), Carboniferous (Westphalian B, Bashkirian), between Mysłowice and Katowice, Upper Silesian Coal Basin, Poland, original illustration by Roemer (1866). Fig. 1, specimen as it appears in the rock; fig. 2, enlarged drawing of specimen.
