Familia: Cerambycidae Sottofamiglia: Cerambycinae Tribus: Clytini Genere: Chlorophorus Specie: Chlorophorus varius Descrizione: 8-14 mm di lunghezza. Biologia: polifago. La larva si nutre di alberi a foglia caduca e piante erbacee. Habitat: adulti possono essere visto su vari fiori. Distribuzione: dell'Europa meridionale, del Caucaso, Transcaucasia, Turchia, nord Iran, vicino Oriente. Ampiamente diffuso in Turchia. La specie è rappresentata da due sottospecie in Turchia e in Italia Abruzzo fiume Pescara Chieti Scalo 10-LUGLIO-1991.
