Name[edit]

Excitobates captivus (Myers, 1982)

Type locality: "mouth of the Río Santiago, 580 feet (177 m.) elevation, Department of Amazonas, Peru. The Río Santiago flows into the Río Marañón at about 4° 26´ S, 77° 38´ W".

Holotype: AMNH 42963.
